that really sucks that theyre still on strike. but ya, definitely learn standard. i didnt find it hard at all. then its just practice of course. lots of fun though, and more fuel efficient.

i hate how frames have clearance issues like this though. sucks if you buy a new fork and the knob doesnt clear the frame and you cant file the knob.

edit: nevermind. unless you right with your fork turned 90 degrees, it wont matter.

around here they all use auto. well, besides the people that actually take pictures. some girl i know has a D60, and carries it around in a towel...and all her pics are of friends and stuff, point and shoot. im assuming she uses auto all the time.

i know at least 5 people with Nikon's or an equivalent that use it as a point and shoot.

theres this kid in my art 12 class that everyone thinks is an amazing photog and has an amazing camera, yet i believe its basically the same camera opie220 just got. same line at least. o well, at least he doesnt have a Nikon or some other higher end camera. his skill matches the camera he has, unlike all these 10 year olds buying...er...their parents buying them D90's and such. and in case anyone takes this the wrong way, im just saying i hate how all these people are buying these pretty sweet cameras and dont even know what macro, for example, is. yet they think theyre so cool and so good at photography because of this camera.

pretty sure its just one more line on the spec list to intrigue people into thinking its up to par with Nikon D60's and beyond.
